Nintendo showcased the next six months of Switch gaming on Wednesday, and the Japanese gaming giant’s first big reveal is a new Mario game: Mario Golf Super Rush. It’s not far either, as Nintendo has announced that the game will be released for Nintendo Switch on June 25.
A trailer released on Nintendo Direct, a speech in which the company announces the next six months of Switch games, showed how the Joy-Con’s motion controls can be used to rock your club and some of the modes involved. There is a Speed Golf multiplayer mode, in which you and three other players race the same course to sink your golf ball first. And there’s a Story Mode, in which your Mii moves up the ranks from beginner to golf pro.

This is Mario’s last sports adventure on the Switch, after that of 2018 Tennis ace and 2019 Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. It is also Mario’s third time on the green, after NES Open Tournament Golf (1987) and the Mario Golf from N64 (1999).
This is one of the many announcements made to Nintendo Direct on Wednesday, including the remaster of a Switch from, and the inclusion of Pyra and Mytrha from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
